"Stupor Mundi" Aglianico del Vulture DOC

Stupor Mundi is the cru wine of the Carbone Winery. The name is a tribute to Federico II of Swabia who often stayed in the area of Melfi. It's a sought-after wine, strongly desired with a selection of the best grapes. A medium-textured, skeletal soil with a great mineral content lays the foundation for a structured and full wine. This wine spends part of its maturation in tonneaux (barrels) at a constant temperature. What comes out is a wine with a ruby red color, on the nose it opens with balsamic, ethereal, black cherry notes. In the mouth it's warm, round and well balanced.

It is said that "Stupor Mundi" is the Barolo of the South Italy and that it improves over the years, so we are convinced that even after 10/12 years this wine can give you immense pleasure to drink.
