Typical Lucanian and Apulian product, ferricelli are certainly one of the most popular and used format for classic southern recipes. Product with local semolina is made in Armento, a small village of Basilicata.
The difference of this pasta compared to other ferricelli on the market is certainly the fact that they are more "rolled up" and also because eggs are used in the mixture.
Among the classic recipes we find the use of this pasta with the breadcrumbs and crispy red pepper or with Fresh grated meat.
