Organic Cicerchie

Cicerchie cultivated with Santeramo from the young Viscanti company in organic. Cicerchie like all legumes are essential source of vitamins and proteins.
These cicerchie have an external peel and therefore need more prolonged soaking and then you need to eliminate them.

Various are the dishes with base cicerchie, from the pasta to a simple soup.
Visually I am a mixture between one fava and a pea and actually also as a taste they resemble so much.
