Cicerchie Decorticate
One of the most ancient legumes from our southern Italy, sometimes forgotten because it is difficult to cook. However, thanks to the Ciavatta company in Puglia, this is no longer the case, it is now possible to enjoy peeled cicerchie. Their appearance, as well as their organoleptic characteristics, is a mix between a broad bean and a pea. This legume, like all of them, is an enormous source of plant-based proteins. Excellent for vegan and vegetarian diets.
