L'Atto Aglianico del Vulture is produced by Cantine del Notaio in Rionero in Vulture, one of Basilicata's best-known wineries. Made from Aglianico del Vulture grapes, this red wine is aged for at least 12 months in third-use oak tonneaux stored in atmospheric natural tuff caves. These conditions encourage slow, balanced maturation, enhancing the wine's structure and elegance.

Tasting Notes and Characteristics

L'Atto Aglianico del Vulture has an intense ruby-red colour. The nose reveals fresh red-fruit aromas, while the palate offers good structure, soft, well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish with pleasant fruity notes. Oak ageing adds balance and complexity without masking the grape variety's distinctive character.
