Fusilli Paesani from Stigliano
Fusilli Paesani Trafilati al Bronzo
The Pasta di Stigliano has deep roots in the artisanal tradition of the "maccheronieri," ancient master pasta makers who created high-quality pasta with simple natural ingredients. Among the grains used, the famous Senatore Cappellistands out, mixed with other fine varieties. Since 2006, the pasta factory Fattincasa has rediscovered and revived the ancient pasta-making techniques. The result is a genuine product, easily digestible, thanks to the slow drying that preserves the authentic flavor of the Lucanian tradition. The fusillo paesano is a variant of the classic fusillo, thinner and elongated, born from the art of wrapping the pasta around a spindle, a tool used in ancient times for spinning.
