It takes its name from the location where it is produced, Maschito, in the province of Potenza. Made from 100% Moscato grapes, it is the quintessential Lucanian white wine. Its processing involves cement and steel tanks. The result is a wine of extraordinary balance that reminds one of moss, notes of yellow fruit, fresh apple, pear, and white flowers.
