The Round
Aglianico del Vulture DOC Rotondo Paternoster
The Rotondo is a wine produced in the first half of October. It spends 10 days in steel tanks at 25-28°C. It then ages in barriques for 14 months and an additional 12 months in the bottle. It is a well-balanced wine with very spicy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured with flavors of red fruits such as raspberry. It pairs well with roasted lamb. The Paternoster winery is one of the historic Lucanian wineries of Vulture.
