Cut Ziti from Stigliano
Ziti Cut Bronze Drawn
The Pasta di Stigliano boasts an ancient tradition of hardworking pasta makers, who became famous under the name of "maccheronieri", having created a fine pasta with simple natural ingredients. Among the grains used, we find "Senatore Cappelli" mixed with other fine varieties.
Quality, genuineness, digestibility and slow drying are the main characteristics of the Stigliano pasta factory "Fattincasa". Fattincasa was established in 2006 after a careful process of recovering the oldest processing techniques, contributing to the revival of an excellence from the Lucanian territory.
Ziti are a specific type of elongated, tubular pasta, about 25 cm long and smooth, while those from the Stigliano pasta factory are very short, similar to macaroni.
