Organic Avocados from Basilicata are among the new agricultural specialities of the Metapontino area, grown in Rotondella on the Ionian coast. The mild coastal climate and the commitment of local growers produce high-quality Italian avocados with excellent flavour, freshness and a wonderfully creamy texture.

Hass and Bacon varieties, certified organic cultivation

These organic avocados are available in two varieties. Hass is known for its creamy flesh, rich flavour and skin that darkens as the fruit ripens. Bacon has smooth green skin, soft flesh and a milder taste. Grown according to certified organic farming standards, the fruit is harvested in season, from late October to April, and naturally provides beneficial fats, fibre, vitamins and minerals.

Each fruit is carefully selected and packed to arrive in excellent condition, preserving the freshness and authentic flavour of Basilicata's organic produce.

The Hass variety is especially appreciated for its creamy flesh, intense flavour and skin that becomes darker as the fruit ripens. Delivery within Italy generally takes 24–72 hours after dispatch. For EU destinations, delivery times and charges depend on the destination, parcel weight and shipping service selected at checkout. Faster and more economical services may be available.

Please allow up to two working days for order preparation. To avoid weekend delays, fresh products such as cheese, bread and cured meats are generally not dispatched from Thursday onwards.
