Artisan Pastiera from Basilicata is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Artisan Pastiera from Basilicata by Pasticceria Donna Giulia in Senise follows a recipe inspired by Campania's traditional pastiera, made with carefully selected local ingredients. A fragrant shortcrust pastry shell holds a creamy filling of cow's milk and sheep's milk ricotta from small local producers. What makes this pastiera special is Carosella soft wheat, grown in the Pollino area and recognised by the Slow Food Ark of Taste, giving the dessert its distinctive character.
Each Artisan Pastiera from Basilicata is handcrafted by Pasticceria Donna Giulia, combining pastry-making tradition with excellent raw materials. The choice of Carosella wheat and local ricotta cheeses reflects a strong connection with the region, creating a soft, balanced dessert for anyone wishing to rediscover the authentic flavours of Southern Italy.
Artisan Pastiera from Basilicata is freshly prepared every Monday to preserve the fragrance and aroma of a just-baked cake. Perfect for sharing during holidays, serving as an after-dinner dessert or enjoying whenever you want an authentic artisan speciality made with traditional methods.
