Gesualdo Aglianico del Vulture is a red wine produced by Cantine di Venosa, one of Basilicata's most important cooperative wineries. Made around Venosa, the birthplace of the poet Horace, it is an authentic expression of the Vulture region, where volcanic soils give wines character, elegance and personality.

An Aglianico Reflecting the Vulture Terroir

Gesualdo Aglianico del Vulture is made from grapes grown on the slopes of Mount Vulture, a unique terroir that lends structure, minerality and aromatic complexity. It has a deep purple-red colour and a rich bouquet of wild berries and dark berries. On the palate it is harmonious, with well-balanced tannins, good structure and a pleasant, lingering finish.

Gesualdo Aglianico del Vulture is perfect with red meat, roasts, braised dishes, game and mature cheeses. Its balance and versatility also make it a fine match for traditional Lucanian and Mediterranean dishes, offering an authentic tasting experience.
