Organic Honey from the Heart of Basilicata
Vallebio Honey is artisan honey produced between the striking Pisticci badlands and the Metapontino, two biodiverse areas of Basilicata. The exceptional variety of local blossoms creates honey with a balanced aromatic profile that captures the richness of Lucanian nature.
Organic Beekeeping and Respect for Bees
Vallebio Honey is produced by beekeeper Mario, who practises organic, migratory beekeeping, following the flowering seasons across the region. His hives have grown from 80 to 160 over the years, producing high-quality honey with a predominance of Acacia, Eucalyptus and Wildflower varieties. Despite the challenges of climate change and protecting bees, the production continues to stand out for its authenticity, sustainability and respect for the environment.
Perfect for Breakfast and Cooking
Vallebio Honey is ideal at breakfast on bread or toast, for sweetening tea and herbal infusions, or paired with yoghurt, cheeses and desserts. Its delicate, aromatic flavour also makes it a versatile ingredient in savoury recipes, adding a natural touch that enhances every dish with the authentic taste of Basilicata.

Shipping in Italy and Europe
Standard shipping within Italy costs โฌ8.90. Orders over โฌ99 qualify for free shipping within Italy.
We carefully pack our products to protect them from impacts, compression and temperature changes. Special protective packaging is used where needed.
Delivery within Italy generally takes 24โ72 hours after dispatch. For EU destinations, delivery times and charges depend on the destination, parcel weight and shipping service selected at checkout. Faster and more economical services may be available.
Please allow up to two working days for order preparation. To avoid weekend delays, fresh products such as cheese, bread and cured meats are generally not dispatched from Thursday onwards.
