Aglianico del Vulture Superiore Serpara
Aglianico del Vulture Superiore DOGG Serpara
It is the Cru wine of the Vulture Re Manfredi winery. The name is that of the vineyard that the company values the most. Serpara means "place of snakes" to describe this land with a mild climate throughout the year.
It is a complex wine that matures in French Allier barriques for 18-24 months. It is garnet red, opening on the nose with hints of licorice and leather. It has a great personality in the mouth with a silky but not intrusive tannin.
