Caciocavallo Impiccato
Caciocavallo Impiccato is the star of Southern Italian barbecues! Produced in Potenza, in the heart of Basilicata, it’s made with carefully selected cow’s milk and aged for a minimum of 2 months—perfect for melting over live embers.
According to tradition, the cheese is “hung” on an iron structure and slowly melted, dripping onto warm bread or bruschetta. The result is a stretchy, molten cheese with an intense, enveloping flavor and rustic notes typical of artisanal craftsmanship. Ideal for sharing and for lovers of authentic Italian flavors. A must-try!
Refrigerated shipping is recommended from June to September (option available at checkout).
