Description
Description
A Symbol of Lucanian Food Tradition
These Dried Senise Peppers come from the celebrated pepper-growing tradition of Senise in Basilicata. The convenient 100g pack is ideal for trying this local speciality. Fry the dried peppers briefly in hot oil and they become the famous, irresistibly crisp peperoni cruschi.
The Same Peppers in a Convenient Pack
The peppers come from the same supply chain as Senise peppers. The PGI designation does not appear on the label because the certification rules do not cover the 100g format, but the product follows the same production method and quality standards.
Ideal for Traditional Recipes and Aperitifs
Use these dried peppers to make crunchy peperoni cruschi, or add them to pasta, meat, salt cod, eggs and Lucanian starters. Read more in our blog article.

Shipping in Italy and Europe
Standard shipping within Italy costs โฌ8.90. Orders over โฌ99 qualify for free shipping within Italy.
We carefully pack our products to protect them from impacts, compression and temperature changes. Special protective packaging is used where needed.
Delivery within Italy generally takes 24โ72 hours after dispatch. For EU destinations, delivery times and charges depend on the destination, parcel weight and shipping service selected at checkout. Faster and more economical services may be available.
Please allow up to two working days for order preparation. To avoid weekend delays, fresh products such as cheese, bread and cured meats are generally not dispatched from Thursday onwards.
Estimated transit times begin once your order has been dispatched, not when it is placed.
