This DOCG Superior Red Wine is produced in Venosa by Cantine di Venosa. Made from Aglianico del Vulture grapes grown at 550-600 meters, the wine spends 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels before maturing for an additional 12 months in the bottle. It boasts a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the palate, it opens up with a bouquet of dark fruits such as blueberries.
