Basilicata IGT il Rogito

Il Rogito is a Rosé wine from the Cantine del Notaio, now well-known to all connoisseurs of quality wines. It is a pure Aglianico del Vulture but in a rosé form.
Historical traces indeed indicate and reveal that rosé wine was widely used at the papal court in the 16th century.
It is a wine appreciated by those who love red wines because it is structured like them. It undergoes its maturation in oak tonneaux for at least a period of 12 months.
On the nose, it evokes red forest fruits as well as on the palate. Having matured in oak barrels, a slightly spicy flavor is felt in the finish.

It pairs well with both fish and meat or cheeses precisely because it is a slightly lighter colored Aglianico del Vulture.He was the winner of the best Rosato in the 2018 edition of Vinitaly
