Falanghina Sannio DOP
Falanghina del Sannio DOP Janare
Expression of a territory considered the most vineyard-rich in Italy, the Falanghina vineyard belongs to Campania, specifically to the Beneventano area.
The line Janare, which in dialect referred to witches, was created to safeguard the native grape varieties of this part of Italy, enhancing the aglianico and falanghina grapes.
The Winery was founded with a cooperative spirit and indeed boasted just over thirty members at its inception, whereas today there are almost a thousand.
All suppliers are small farmers who protect this territory.
The falanghina is vinified in steel to preserve its natural characteristics of fragrance. A white wine of great fragrance and freshness.
It is straw yellow in color and the fruity notes make it suitable to pair with fish first courses, fish and meat carpaccios, or shellfish.
