Organic Lentils from Basilicata
Lentils cultivated in the hills between Potenza and Avigliano by the company Vaccaro.
The mild summer climate allows for a slow maturation of the lentils , making them excellent for cooking, unlike those from Altamura, which tend to remain a bit "crunchy" even after prolonged cooking.
Great as a soup or with short pasta.
The other company that cultivates lentils is located in the province of Matera, specifically in Grassano. The method is always organic.
