Primitivo Malbek is a Salento IGT red wine combining 85% Primitivo and 15% Malbek in an original blend by Morella Winery. Produced in Manduria, it interprets Puglia's winemaking heritage in an elegant, contemporary style, marrying the aromatic richness of Primitivo with the softness and structure of Malbek. An appealing choice for anyone who appreciates balance and character.

French Oak Ageing and Exceptional Smoothness

Primitivo Malbek ages for twelve months in French Allier oak barriques and another eight months in bottle. It has a deep ruby-red colour and aromas of ripe red fruit with delicate spicy notes. On the palate, its rounded character, soft, well-integrated tannins and long, balanced finish make each sip smooth and harmonious.

Ideal with Red Meat, Roasts and Mature Cheeses

Primitivo Malbek is perfect with grilled red meat, roasts, braised dishes, game and mature cheeses. It also pairs well with traditional cured meats and Mediterranean dishes without overpowering their flavours.
